Most of GreenLand's tours have a medium difficulty level.
During the winter months (mid-November to February), there are occasional cold spells lasting 5-7 days or more; sometimes temperatures can drop to around 8–18 °C. When the temperature drops below 18°C, the passages crossing streams or swimming in caves will be moved by boat or raft. From March to May, the weather is cool, sometimes with a few cold or hot days. The weather in summer from June to August averages 32–38 °C, and visitors will enjoy swimming inside the cave and outside in the rivers and streams. Winter here (mid-November to mid-February) is not too cold, but the average temperature ranges from 8 to 15 degrees Celsius if your tour falls during monsoons or cold air waves. In addition to the cold rains, the winter weather is around 22 to 27 degrees Celsius, and there are still warm, sunny days. You need to know what the weather is like before departing the tour so that you can best prepare for the trip and have a truly enjoyable journey. You should prepare a beanie and scarf during the tour, especially when going to sleep. Please keep your hair dry when swimming in Ruc Mon Cave or wading in rivers and streams. Wool hats, scarves, and gloves can be purchased at reasonable prices in Phong Nha Market. Change into dry clothes as soon as you arrive at the campsite and drink hot water prepared by the porter team to keep you warm. If you feel cold or unwell, please inform our guides immediately. The summer here is usually very hot. The average temperature ranges from 32 to 40 degrees Celsius, depending on the seasonal heat wave, and the humidity is relatively high, so be prepared. You should drink water regularly before, during, and after the tour. To help balance the amount of salt in the body during exercise, you should carry some rehydration tablets. The tour guide will also prepare rehydration tablets to use in an emergency. In addition, you should avoid the use of alcoholic beverages because they will accelerate the body's dehydration process. Don't forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a long-sleeved shirt to protect your body from the summer sun. We recommend that you wear long sleeves and long pants even when you join the summer tour; this will help keep your body cool and help you avoid harmful plants, sharp rocks, and insects. coincide.
When participating in Ruc Mon tours, you only need to have basic swimming knowledge, GreenLand's guides will equip you with life jackets, support you during swimming, or use a boat to help you move.
