I.Introduce

Quang Binh is a paradise of caves. Among the famous caves that people often mention in Quang Binh, Ruc Mon Cave is a place that still retains its unspoiled natural beauty. The journey to explore Ruc Mon cave in Trung Hoa is one of the large caves in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang buffer zone, which has been exploited by a Greenland adventure company since the beginning of 2017. The cave is located in Trung Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district. Quang Binh province, with its primitive beauty, makes this cave an ideal tourist destination in Quang Binh for visitors to experience the feeling of swimming under the cool water and crossing the cliffs to conquer the system. Amazingly beautiful stalactites are inside the cave.

The journey to discover Ruc Mon Cave in Trung Hoa is a great choice for those who are passionate about conquering challenges and want to have a lifetime experience. accompanied by countless experiences such as walking in the middle of the green forest, learning about the diverse flora and fauna, learning about the life of the people of Trung Hoa, discovering the giant stalactites, swimming 1 km into the cave, and conquering the caves. Start :7:30 AM - 8:00 AM

Finish : 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

• From 07:30 - 08:00 . We will pick you up from your hotel in Phong Nha around 7:30 - 8:00 am and transfer you to our headquarters to get prepared. We will depart on the Ruc Mon adventure by van, driving about 45 km, viewing the Da Deo mountain pass, and learning more about the history of the Ho Chi Minh Trail presented by our guide.
• 9:30 We continue to the Yen Phu village of the Trung Hoa minority people and start your adventure by walking through the jungle and learning more about local life. Walk past the primeval forest, which is still unspoiled with many rare and ancient trees.
• Keep trekking to the entrance of Ruc Mon Cave, where a delicious BBQ lunch of local food will be awaiting you, prepared by our porter team. A vegetarian or vegan lunch is also available upon request.
• 12:30 After having lunch, you will have 30 minutes to take a rest and get your gear and equipment prepared. Then we trek into the jungle for 350 meters over rocky terrain to the upper cave entrance.
• 13:00 Explore four distinctly different cave levels and then descend an 80m ladder, where you have the option to jump 5m into the river below. After exploring the different areas. You will exit the cave by swimming or floating for 1km in refreshing underground mountain water. Back at the entrance, we dry off and have some drinks and snacks before returning to the village. Departure back to Phong Nha will be approximately 5:30-6:30 p.m.

III.Tour equipment: 

• Shuttle bus, helmet, headlight, gloves, socks, trekking sandals, long-sleeved shirt, towel, life jacket, etc. Lunch, snacks after the tour, drinking water, medical equipment, medicine...

• Waterproof bag for the camera and phone.

• Can bring shoes, sandals to change into after the end of the journey. 
• Personal items: mosquito spray, sunscreen, glasses, hats...

V. Experience for first-timers

 When traveling to discover Ruc Mon, to have the best experience, you should know some of the following:

 You are not allowed to arbitrarily visit Ruc Mon Cave; currently, the cave has been given exclusive rights by the Greenland Company. So you can join the Ruc Mon trekking tour. This exclusivity is a way to help limit overexploitation of the area and preserve the site and its inherent natural beauty. 

You should follow the guide closely to not get lost: getting to the cave is quite difficult and arduous. You have to go through a forest and climb uphill to get to the Ruc Mon Gate. Therefore, when exploring Ruc Mon, you need a guide for the most convenient trip. 

There is no exact route to the cave: Ruc Mon Cave is not available on Google Maps, and there are no directions or signs. You can only trust and follow instructors who have a lot of experience and knowledge. That's why you shouldn't explore this cave alone.

VI. Important Notes!!!

• Due to weather conditions, the guide may change the route to ensure the client's safety!
• Please check and make sure you understand the details of the tour that you will join to ensure you get the value you expect from the journey!
• Don’t bring jewelry or any other valuable accessories!
• Long sleeve-shirt and long pants are highly recommended due to the leeches and poison ivy on the way! 
• We are not responsible if another company uses our catalog, and photos to sell another tour.

VII.Tour cancellation policies: 

• We have fully prepared for the tour and to ensure customers have the best experience, unfortunately if you cancel the tour 7 days in advance, you will be charged 50% of the payment!
• Or we'll treat your booking as a booking and you can take the tour anytime within 7 days of your cancellation!
